WHY EQUINE-ASSISTED ACTIVITIES
Learning to communicate with a horse provides a sense of independence that defies any disability. Once someone has the power to control a horse’s actions, they gain a new perspective on what they are capable of doing and their fight against whatever life throws at them.

HEC Hooves of Joy is more than just a PATH Intl. Therapeutic Riding Center — it is a beacon of hope and growth for children and adults facing intellectual, emotional, and physical challenges. Our mission is simple yet profound: to harness the incredible natural therapeutic power of horsemanship to bring joy and healing to those who need it most.
WHAT WE DO
We offer programs year ’round to children, ages 5 and up, and adults of all ages that are tailored to an individual’s needs and goals utilizing both ground and mounted activities. These programs are designed to provide our participants with safe and effective learning that enhances and enriches their lives through the natural therapeutic benefits horses offer.
